Our Philosophy
At Children’s Learning Center, we believe the environment plays a major role in the success of an early childhood program. Children learn best when they feel comfortable, respected, and encouraged to explore the world around them. Our philosophy is centered on learning through play, giving children opportunities to discover, create, imagine, ask questions, and build confidence. We aim to support the whole child by addressing physical, social, emotional, and intellectual development in a way that honors each child’s individual stage of growth.
Our Curriculum & Learning Approach
Our curriculum-guided, play-based approach allows children to learn through center-based choices, discovery, and meaningful experiences. Each classroom is designed to support a specific stage of development, from sensory-rich infant care to kindergarten-readiness in Pre-K. Children are encouraged to build communication skills, independence, cooperation, early reasoning, movement, creativity, and social confidence through daily routines and engaging activities. By combining structure with exploration, we help children develop important skills while still experiencing the joy of childhood.
Safety & Support
The safety of every child is one of our highest priorities. Children’s Learning Center is equipped with security cameras throughout the building for continuous monitoring, a password-protected keypad at the front entrance, and KinderConnect sign-in/out through a tablet system that requires parent verification and captures a photo at every sign-out. These safety practices help us maintain a secure child care environment while giving families peace of mind each day. Our center is state licensed and MOA accredited, reflecting our commitment to trusted, responsible care.
Caring Teachers & Support Staff Heading
Our teachers and support staff are dedicated to creating a positive classroom experience for every child. From helping infants feel secure to guiding preschoolers toward independence, our team works with patience, consistency, and care. We understand that children grow in different ways and at different speeds, so we focus on meeting each child where they are while encouraging their next step forward. Through thoughtful routines, meaningful interaction, and strong communication with families, our staff helps children feel supported throughout the day.
